SHORT FUSE

LD10 "Chain Reaction" Entry

Enjoy! Instructions are in the main menu.

You can access the level editor by pressing E on the title screen. It's really easy to destroy the existing maps by using it, so you shouldn't try it. But here's what I can think of about it:

Red button is save, green button is load. The number on the far right is which level number you are working on (if you save, it will save over that spot. If you load, it'll load what's in that spot).

Arrow keys left and right change which level you are working on.
Arrow keys up and down change the percentage goal for the level (very very hard to control!).
Plus and minus keys (on the keypad) adjust the fuse timer. Also very hard to control.

Click to place stuff on the map, right click to change tools.
Press G to grab the tool that's under the cursor.
It draws a box around the 'active area' (the smallest rectangle of non-floor items). When you play the level, it will zoom into this active area. But I never could get the panning to work right, so you have to center it perfectly yourself. To do that, press IJKM to move the map around. The little white dot shows you the center of the screen.

You can't control the names of the levels or how many are available in the menu, so all you can really do is tweak the existing levels.
